Maple Cap We pre-carve some maple capped bodies to offer shorter lead times so check these out first. You can also choose from our stock of bookmatched sets. Otherwise select plain, flame or quilt from the drop down menu and we can select a piece on your behalf, or if you have something particular in mind, give a brief description in the “comments” box and we will source a suitable top to match your requirements. Mahogany body Most customers find our standard medium weight single piece Brazilian mahogany slab (the main tone driver) combined with our comfort cut to be the ideal balance but we also hold a limited stock of heavier and lighter mahogany and these options together with tone chambers can be selected if required from the drop down menu. We would recommend however that you read Martyn’s technical comments on tone chambers before selecting this option.

Headstock Unless you specifically request otherwise we will use Ebony veneer on the Headstock fascia. Binding is available on request.
Fingerboard Our usual is unbound Indian Rosewood, but you can also use the drop down menu to select alternatives.
