American composer and virtuoso guitarist, Matte Henderson (aka robocoptick) has played and recorded with a broad spectrum of musicians, from the late black music maverick Bill Dixon, Laurence Cook, Mario Pavone to King Crimson members Robert Fripp, Tony Levin, Trey Gunn and Pat Mastelotto as well as Bad Brains icon Dr Know, David Torn, Henry Kaiser, Alain Johannes, Mono Neon, the late Mick Karn, Percy Jones, John Medeski, drummers Matt Chamberlain, Morgan Ågren, Marco Minneman, Wes Watkins, Rodney Holmes and David Fiuczynski (in both Screaming Headless Torsos and Kif) to pop icons Jewel and Natalie Merchant.
His album with Marco Minnemann, The Veneer of Logic, (released in 2013) shows us his “prog” roots and influences of one time tutor Robert Fripp (King Crimson) and will be a must listen for all fans of Soft Machine and another Martyn Booth Guitars artist, John Etheridge.
